COVID-19 Resources

As we prepare for the new academic year, our campus operations look quite different than one year ago, when we were balancing in-person and online classes and managing isolation and quarantine for our students and employees.

While COVID-19 still exists within our community, and new variants of concern are identified, we also have more tools to mitigate its effects. We now manage COVID-19 on a regular basis, much like other common viruses and illnesses. At the same time, we continue to monitor how COVID-19 is impacting our campus and the Flathead and Lincoln County communities. Should we need to share timely updates regarding COVID-19, we’ll do so as we have in the past – with campus-wide emails and updates in the employee and student newsletters.

Here’s the current campus guidance for the fall semester as it relates to COVID-19:

  • The college encourages COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
  • We encourage mask use if you are being seen for cold/flu/cough symptoms.
  • COVID testing for students and employees is available at the Student Health Clinic.
  • Students and employees who test positive need to isolate and not attend in-person classes for at least five days.
  • As with any other illness, please work to accommodate student absences and support students who miss classes due to illness.

If you or someone you know is impacted by COVID, please complete the COVID Reporting form or contact CQRT@fvcc.edu for assistance and resources.
