Wanda Hollensteiner Japanese Art Exhibition Opening

The Wanda Hollensteiner Art Gallery at the Wachholz College Center will be presenting a Special Exhibit of Japanese Art in honor of the late Wanda Hollensteiner. The exhibit will run from June 10, 2024 to September 15, 2024, with a Public Opening Reception on Thursday, June 13 from 5-7pm.

Japanese art and artifacts have been kindly lent for the occasion by the Hollensteiner family, the Wright Museum at Beliot College in Wisconsin, FVCC faculty members Douglas Harling and Jennifer Li, and FVCC supporter Lucy Smith.

The exhibit will include collections of antique Japanese woodblock prints and netsuke, examples of kimono, and hinamatsuri and other traditional Japanese dolls.
