FVCC music program announces spring concert series lineup

The Flathead Valley Community College music program will showcase a slate of talented student musicians and faculty at its spring concert series March 7 through May 9.

The music starts at 2 p.m. March 7 with a free student recital in the Swank Recital Hall.

A free all-day middle school orchestra festival kicks off at 2 p.m. March 18 in McClaren Hall.

On March 21, free student recitals are planned in the Swank Recital Hall. Performances start at 2 p.m.

On April 1, FVCC faculty and guests artists will be featured in a recital that begins at 7 p.m. in the Swank Recital Hall. Tickets range from $5 to $15. The recital is free for FVCC students.

“The Pirates of Penzance” spring musical is planned at 7 p.m. April 24, 25 and 26 with additional performances May 1, 2 and 3 in the Joe Legate Black Box Theatre. Ticket information is not yet available.

An FVCC ensemble concert will be held at 7 p.m. May 6 in McClaren Hall Tickets range from $5 to $15. The recital is free for FVCC students.

The series concludes with FVCC student recitals at 2 p.m. May 9 in Swank Recital Hall.

All venues are located in the Wachholz College Center on the FVCC campus with the exception of the Joe Legate Black Box Theatre, which is inside the Arts and Technology building.
