FVCC receives grant to support occupational trade students

KALISPELL, Mont. — The Flathead Valley Community College was selected as one of 18 universities nationwide to receive a $75,000 grant as part of the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI).

The funding will support students in occupational trade programs.

Most of the funding will go towards $200 scholarships for 300 returning students in Fall 2024 semester occupational trades programs.

FVCC is the only school in Montana to receive the MSI funding.
